Really excited to be joining the trombone faculty at University of British Columbia. Looking forward to working closely with Jeremy Berkman and Ilan Morgenstern throughout the year.
Join us for year two of our week-long performance workshop, open to trombonists ages 14 and up. All are welcome: students, amateurs, weekend warriors, band directors, you name it. We pride ourselves at VTW for focusing on the essentials every trombone player needs to know. Fundamentals of a beautiful sound, efficient technique, a foundation of solid rhythm and intonation, and most importantly, awakening the musician and artist within each individual student. We hope you'll join us!
Joining us also is very special guest, Ko-ichiro Yamamoto, Principal Trombone of the Seattle Symphony!

ALESSI SEMINAR ASIA
I'm so pleased to be returning to the Alessi Seminar Asia (Shanghai) as Assistant Instructor this July. The Alessi Seminar, established by Joseph Alessi (Principal Trombone of the New York Philharmonic, Professor of Trombone at Juilliard), is a goldmine of information for aspiring professional trombonists aiming to reach the top in the field. I had the privilege of attending the Alessi Seminar in Italy in 2014, as well as Alessi Seminar Asia 2018, in Taiwan. Click here to discover all faculty for Alessi Seminar Asia 2019.
